Down to the last leg of my Aussie stint, after being in Sydney the last month. Today, I’m going to share some of the best matcha spots in this sunny city.
Brisbane’s Sol Breads
Well known in Brisbane for their bread artisans and pastries, Sol Bread offers many kinds of hot beverages and coffee. Located at the center of West End, this café offers a working lounge for those who would like to bring their laptops to work all day. With the café’s homey ambiance, you’d definitely feel relaxed here. If you are looking for steamy matcha café’s to go with their paleo brownies and cheesy sourdough toasties, not to worry because Sol Bread offers that too. So if ever you find yourself in the city of Brisbane, make a stop at Sol Bread.
Gold Coast’s BKST Café
BKST Café in Gold Coast offers a wide array of drinks ranging from caffeine-free beverages to organic coffee. There are many teas and lattes to choose from but a few of the most popular ones are Rooibos tea and turmeric lattes. There is also the choice of having matcha green tea or a matcha latte. You can pick from a variety of milk options (from organic coconut milk, almond milk or soy) to accompany your warm matcha drink.
Last but not least, I found this gem of a Brisbane-themed cafe while I was in Sydney:
Brisbane’s Passion Tree
Passion Tree offers you a sweet indulgence of matcha beverages and many more. Located in Sydney’s Chatswood, this Brisbane café offers a dish where most of the ingredients used is matcha. From a wide variety of waffles to French toast to their bestselling signature hot chocolates that taste like peanut butter, you just definitely have to have more of it. This cafe’s matcha latte warms my heart.
